About Me
and I’m an architect from Moscow. I’ve been working in the field since 2004, and over the past 20+ years, I’ve completed more than a hundred architectural and design projects for both private and public spaces - including residential homes, restaurants, offices, clinics, and more - not only in Russia but also abroad.
I’ve collaborated with the renowned Moscow restaurant group led by Andrey Dellos, whose portfolio includes such legendary establishments as Turandot, Casta Diva, Manon, and others, as well as the iconic Café Poushkine, which has branches in several global capitals. I was invited to the group’s architectural bureau to work on the Café Pouchkine project in Paris.
I was also a regular contributor to the primetime television program Idealny Remont (The Ideal Renovation) on Channel One Russia, where I designed and executed interiors for celebrity homes as part of the on-screen production. This gave me valuable experience in delivering high-quality work within very tight deadlines. In addition, I appeared on the show for many years as an expert in various themed segments.
In March 2022, due to certain circumstances, I relocated to Europe. While continuing to manage Russian projects remotely (thanks to the pandemic for teaching us adaptability), I began developing my design practice in my new environment as well.
One notable example was my participation in Ambienti, a popular television show on Slovenia’s national channel, where I presented a renovation project for a late 19th-century villa. It was not only an honor but also a great pleasure for me.
As part of the same program, I also had the opportunity to present the work of a talented local artist, Fulvia Zudic, whom I was lucky to meet. I believe this will lead to a fruitful collaboration in the near future - more on that soon.
Over the past many years, I’ve increasingly received requests from clients to help them select and integrate art into their spaces. After all, who if not me knew their interiors better than anyone else :)
My professional background, visual literacy, and knowledge - from architectural university training to numerous internships, business trips, and travels (where visiting museums and galleries was always a must) - were more than enough to handle these tasks. Still, pursuing an additional education in art history allowed me to structure this experience and receive expert-level validation of my competencies.
As a result, during my years abroad, I mastered a new profession - art advisor. This has now become a full-fledged part of my professional portfolio.
Drawing on my architectural expertise, I realized that what excites me most is the process of integrating art into the context of a space.
Simply put, I believe that art should not only live in museums and galleries but be a part of everyday life - present, visible, and close to people. The key is to select it thoughtfully and integrate it harmoniously.
And I’m not talking about decorative wall art that merely matches the interior’s color scheme. I’m talking about real, living, conceptual art - art that deserves attention both for its artistic value and as an investment.
Over the years, I’ve often observed with frustration that many people are afraid of art - or even feel they’re somehow “not worthy” of having it in their homes.
I spent a long time thinking about how to fundamentally shift this perception.
That’s how a unique product was born:
An Art Selection Configurator, a tool that helps “try on” a space for a work of art - or, conversely, integrate a desired piece of art into an interior.
And I’ll be your trusted guide throughout this process :)
Think of your spaces as something - or someone - alive!
I recently noted the following statement, which may capture the essence of my message:
If your walls could talk, they would scream they are naked!
